Rian Roon Reak (1st batch), Nur Ngern (Silver), Luang Pu Eaum, Samnak Song Taling Chan, Phattalung Province (B.E.2556)

Luang Pu Eaum

Samnak Song Taling Chan, Phattalung Province.

LP Eaum 的法名是Prakru Udom Panya Koon, Wat KuanPanaTang, Talae Noi, Phattalung.

This was the prime reason that he created this amulet, known as Khun Paen Pong Plai Guman, which will is able to help followers in fortune-fetching, bringing good luck and making oneself well-liked by people around you. You will be loved and admired by others, offerings and good fortune will transpire form the least expected places. It is also good for improving one's interpersonal relationships and attracting people.

Charm on its own though is not sufficient, proficiency is also required to solve life's problems. Proficiency that lives within you and flows rapidly and easily when most needed. As long as you possess consciousness, intelligence, patience and constant effort, this attribute will be available to you, to steer you on a safe course through these difficult times.

Last but not least is good fortune and luck. Luck will look down upon you wherever you go. This Khun Paen Pong Plai Guman amulet will bring the owner luck and fortune in abundance. With these three blessings the quality of your life will dramatically improve forever.

What is Plai Guman powder ???

Luang Pu Tim of Wat Lahanrai used to create Pong Plai Guman powder followed very ancient ways, which only a few monks had the knowledge to create successfully.

Kon Kulahp (the disciple of Luang Pu Tim) was instructed by Luang Pu Tim to find the corpse of a woman that died during pregnancy and the woman should have died on a Saturday and cremated on a Tuesday. He was further told that once such a cadaver was located that he should remove parts of the child's skull, from the unborn fetus and not look back once the sacred material had been secured. This was carried out in accordance with the wishes of Luang Pu Tim.

Luang Pu Tim chanted a special Katha for one week in order to prevent the spirit departing from the Plai Guman. Once completed, Kon Kulahp was instructed to pound and grind the material into a fine powder, which he commenced to do, before becoming somewhat disturbed by sparks emanating from the mortar. He had to burn incense and ask for forgiveness before this phenomena abated.

Luang Pu Tim took the Plai Guman powder and mixed it with a number of other sacred powders including, Itije powder, Patamang powder, Jindahmanee powder and 108 different herbs and sedges. The mixture was chanted for days on end.

The Plai Guman was also added to a few other batches of amulets including this Khun Paen , Phra Somdej, Phra Piddta and Phra Kring Chinabahnchorn. In the case of the Phra Kring amulet the material was added to the base.

The Reason why Luang Pu Tim chose to use the skull of a dead child in the process was because the amulet made by Plai Guman will provide merit from Lord Buddha and the power and protection will come from Plai Guman.

Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop, Nur Ngern (silver), Acharn Nong, Wat Sai Khao, Pattani (B.E.2535)

Size: 2cm
Effect: Saving the lives of people from seemingly fatal automobile accidents, Strong protection from harm and danger, Overcome all obstacles in life.

Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop, or loosely translated as "Narayana (Hindu deity, avatar of Vishnu) changing form" was Acharn Nong's most famous sacred talisman which is extremely popular and famous among collectors due to many positive experiences among devotees. This is the one and only type of Thakrud ever created by Acharn Nong.

Acharn Nong mentioned to his devotees that he learnt to create such a thakrud from "Mae Nang Jan", a forest spirit who actually visited Acharn Nong in a dream to teach him the sacred method and incantations. Mae Nang Jan wanted to help Acharn Nong complete the building of the main shrine of Wat Sai Khao and also the monks' living quarters so as to gain merits.

Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop is popularly known for "changing misfortune into good fortune". In ancient text, it was mentioned that this type of thakrud is created by very powerful magic which is like the Hindu God Vishnu changing into various avatars to aid his devotees to overcome all types of obstacles in life. However, such a thakrud was extremely difficult to create as the person creating this thakrud must have attained a high-level of supernatural power to be able to invite Vishnu and contain his image and power in the thakrud. Due to this difficulty, not many masters were able to create effective Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop, with Acharn Nong being a notable exception.

It was known that Acharn Nong started creating Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop for the first time around B.E.2496 (C.E.1953) using metal sheets. Later on, Acharn Nong would received ammunition catridges given to him by villagers as well as his disciples for him to create the thakrud. The ammunition catridges came in all sizes, large and small and many thakruds were created using these cartridges. Later on, these thakruds would also be created in gold casings given by donors. The item inside the thakrud is actually a type of wood known as "Mai Luang Pu Thuad", which can only be found on a mountain resided by the forest spririt Mae Nang Jan. Acharn Nong would not allow anyone to see how the thakrud was created and people were forbidden as a rule to open the thakrud. If the thakrud was open, the spell would be broken and the thakrud would no longer be usable.

Thakrud Narai Plaeng Roop is a common feature in many of Acharn Nong's amulets such as his medals, which goes to show how famous he is for his thakrud. Acharn Nong passed away in B.E.2542 (C.E.1999) without passing the knowledge of creating this thakrud to any of his disciples.
