Archan Kaen is known to be "King of Takrut" during his era in Nakorn Si Thammarat province. Due to his fame after being commissioned by the recently passed away Sangkarat Yanasangwon to produce waist takrut for the army as well as the police force. Sangkarat Yanasangwon got to know of Archan Kaen after a train driver took his waist takrut out to be "re-blessed" by Sangkarat. Immediately he felt a tingling sensation in his hands after holding onto the takrut. Rian 1st batch, Nur Ngern Red color LongYa, Phor Gae Chao Seng, Wat Prawet Phupha (Wat BanTrang), Mattani (B.E.2556)

Come real gold frame
Phor Than Chao Seng (也有人称Phor Gae Chao Seng)。

PT Chao Seng的法术,主要是跟两位大师学习,Phor Than Thong Keow 以及Phor Than Chai。 其中Phor Than 才Chai是Wat Ban Trang当时的住持,PT Chai传给PT Chao Seng的法术都是Wat Ban Trang的古老法门。

Phra Sivali
In one of his past lives, Phra Sivali (Pāḷi: Sīvalī Thera) was blessed with the opportunity to see the Buddha Padumuttara (the 13th Buddha). At that time Buddha Padumuttara gave to a monk the honor of being foremost among his fellow monks obtaining the Four Requisites (1: food; 2: shelter; 3: robes; 4: medicine). Upon seeing the people offering an abundance of those Four Requisites to this particular monk, Sīvalī was deeply impressed and made a vow to attain a status in monkhood similar to that of the monk he had witnessed.

Buddha Padumuttara noticed Sīvalī’s earnest dedication and he told him that, in a future life time – at the time of Gotama Buddha – his strong determination to become foremost among the monks obtaining the Four Requisites would become reality.

Then, in the time of Gotama Buddha, Sīvalī was born as a prince. Legend has it that because of an unwholesome deed he had performed (as an unrighteous King creating a lot of suffering to his subjects) in one of his past lives, his mother had to carry Sīvalī in her womb for a period as long as seven years. When the seventh year had come his mother could not yet give birth for another six days. Then, on the seventh day she worried she might die soon, so she requested her husband – the King – to invite the Buddha and his disciples for a meal at the palace so that she could offer them food for their alms. The King conscented to her request, and took care of the preparation of the meal for the monks.

After the Buddha and his disciples had finished their meal they bestowed blessings upon the queen (Sīvalī’s mother), which caused her pains to cease. Then when the Buddha and his disciples had left the palace she give birth without any further problems. Thus a wealthy prince by the name of Sīvalī was born in this world. Remarkably, the pains and hardships of both royal family members and those of the people living in their Kingdom had ceased and made way for an abundance of food and wealth.

Later Sariputta would invite Sīvalī to join the monastic community to which the queen granted Sīvalī her permission to do so. Whilst his hair got shaven he contemplated on the 32 parts of the body and its impurities. Immediately after that Sīvalī attained liberation (Pāḷi: mokkha; Sanskrit: mokṣa - a synonym for nibbāna / nirvāṇa).

From that moment onwards, the monks started to notice that wherever Sīvalī went to travel, he and his fellow monks were never short of the Four Requisites. In fact, they were always given an abundance of offerings by the laity. The Buddha soon recognized that Sīvalī’s vow from the past had now come to fruition, thereby declaring him foremost among the monks obtaining the Four Requisites.

Apart from the fact that Sīvalī was an arahant disciple of the Buddha, and had played an essential role in taking care of the Four Requisites for the monks in the monastic community, Thai people worship Phra Sivali as an arahant with miraculous power to quickly attract an abundance of prosperity and wealth.

(The information about Phra Sivali is from others website. Just for reference.)

Phra Pidta Milk Head (牛奶头), Nur Wahn with Rak, made by Chao Khun Chan, Wat Uttamaram (aka Wat Bangsek), Kg. Teresek, Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Malaysia (B.E.251x).

Chao Khun Chan background

The late Than Chao Khun (Chan) was born on the 15th day of May, 1909 in the village Teresek, Repek, Pasir Mas, State of Kelantan. He was the 3rd son in a family of three boys and four girls of the late Mr. Suk Pisngam and Madam Thiak.

He received his formal religious education from the monks in the village monastery when he was 15 years old. The monks taught him to read and write in the Cambodian and Thai alphabets in the monastery, but there was no school which conduct Malay language classes at that time and because of his self reliant attitude, diligent and hard working he had mastered the Malay language within such a short period of time. By the time he reached the age of twenty(20), he was already very proficient and had a very good command of Pali language thus not only enabled him to recite but also to translate and write the Patimokkha and Sutras from the Holy Dhamma books.

It is a good practice and exalted tradition for the Buddhist Thai Youth to enter into the monastery and began their serious practice to become a monk at the age of twenty one (21). Like others, Than Chau Khun Chan became a monk at age of twenty two(22) upon taking full ordination on the 7th day of July 1931 at Wat Uttamaram, in a ceremony solemnised by the well-known Abbot Phra Khru Ophasputtakhun (Kiew) of Wat Kampung Dalam Tumpat, Kelantan. After ordination, he was known as Phra Chan Kesaro.

Knowledge is a potential power and it is one of the important source in achieving wisdom. Therefore, in seeking for better and in-depth knowledge Than Chau Khun Chan then travelled to Thailand. This is because Thailand is very well known in Buddhist culture and has many monasteries that cater for Buddhist teachings.

In Thailand, he had enrolled himself in the Buddhist Institute of Thailand from year 1934 till 1949. In this Institute he was taught by two teachers who were also his mentors and they were Phra Khru Pipat Samanakic and Phra Khru Pibul Samanawat. Upon completion of his studies in 1949, he again furthered his studies in the prestigious Buddhist College of Wat Muclintawapi Vihara, Nongcik, Pattani in Southern Thailand. This Buddhist College has since been upgraded into a University of Buddhism. At this prestigious Buddhist College, he had studied the Pali language, the Tripitaka, Philosophy, Pali canon and amongst other secular subjects to equip himself to become a Buddhist teacher and to carry out the missionary works.Upon graduation from the Pali language and the various religious disciples he become a Maha.

In the year 1962, he was appointed as an Abbot of Wat Uttamaram and the subsequent year in 1963 he was conferred the ecclesiastical title of Phra Vicaranayanmuni Nayaka Maha Thera by the Buddhist Sangha Council of Thailand. Due to his enormous and invaluable contributions and services to the society of Buddhist teachings in the state of Kelantan, he was elected to be the Lord Abbot of Kelantan by the Royal Highness, the Sultan of Kelantan.

On the 30th day of November 1992 at 6.45 am, Phra Vicaranayanmuni Nayaka Maha Thera passed away peacefully at the age of eighty four (84). Even though his physical body may have perished but his immense, immeasurable, invaluable and ever lasting meritorious deeds and his untiring dedication and service to the religion, country and to all sentient being will always be remembered deep in the devotees' heart.

Besides all these extensive charity works, Luangpu Kamphan also helped many government sectors to raise funds for the police force, army and various other public facilities.

Therefore, it’s not difficult to see why the great Luangpu Kamphan is so well-respected by everyone in the Nakhon Phanom province. In fact, many local Thais venerate him as a living Arahant.

(Wat Kosadaram was home to another important northeastern Buddhist monk, Luang Pu Kumpan Kosapanya. Within the compound, the Phra That Mahachai houses holy Buddha relics, the largest wooden engraved Buddha image, and the region’s most exquisite wall murals. Buddhist devotees visit the Achan Bua Temiyo Museum to view his personal items and pay respect to his corpse, which miraculously doesn’t decompose though it was never chemically treated.)

Unfortunately, Luangpu Kamphan passed away peacefully on the 24th November, B.E. 2546, at 01.59hr, in his kuti. He was 88, having spent a total of 58 rain retreats in his lifetime.

Prayer for all Luangpu Kumphan Amulet's:
