Dhamma & Philosophy of life

⛔️ Luang Pu Boonsong at Phu Hin Rong Kla ⛔️

Luang Pu Boonsong ~ Luang Pu have mercy to tells the story of a past time when His Highness went to pray. Seeking Mokkha Dharma in the forests along the Phan hills faced many dangers. Let's fight each other to find the true dharma that the Buddha has presided over... Part of the conversation Reverend Grandfather Luang Pu Boonsong had mercy to tell us that. He travel to many areas not even the red areas that are abundantly Communist Party or Superintendent at Phu Hin Rong Kla, Phitsanulok Province, at that time was full of intense communism. He go hiking with Luang Phor Prasit Punyamaro of Wat Pa Mu Mai, Chiang Mai Province (Luang Pu Boonsong will respectfully call him 'Ajarn Prasit'). In those days, both parents and teachers were devoted to the Dharma and had courageous minds ready to face everything that lay ahead. He set out to discover the true Dharma in order to destroy all desires and desires to disappear. Where is it dangerous? That place you will travel to destroy the passion that exists. Going to many areas, many places, forest after forest. Cave after cave, especially in communist-intensive areas such as Phu Hin Rong Kla. Luang Pu said that ~ In those days, outsiders were very afraid. Because it is considered the stronghold of the Communist Party. No one outside dared to enter. When you walk through that area. Rested in prayer. Luang Pu said that a calm area. It is very suitable for praying. Because it is full of intricate mysteries of mountains as far as the eye can see. Due to the landscape like this, when the NCPO's armed forces were present, no one could approach the area. But Reverend Grandfather Luang Pu eloquently stated that "...In fact, at that time our country's communists. It's not like other communism. Elsewhere, destroy all opposite sides. No religion. But our home communists not that cruel. The heart is still gentle, according to the habits of Thai people. Because he is actually a Thai person too. He was a person who had been in the city before, but something turned upside down, so he had to decide to go into the forest and take up arms against the authorities. Only because of conflicting ideologies. But other things aren't that scary." Reverend Grandfather Luang Pu said that ~ While he was meditating at Klod in the forest at Phu Hin Rong Kla. He too often heard the voices of communists as he patrolled his way. There will be a voice among the patrol teams that.. Don't go that way, there is a monk.. There will always be a voice like this. During the time that Luang Pu prayed there. He said he wasn't that heartless... At that time, Phu Hin Rong Kla was very fertile and the atmosphere is the best. Therefore, it is one of the strongholds of the Superintendent. It is an atmosphere that is still remembered to this day. Another point that is considered a strategic point is Phu Phan Mountains in the northeastern region of Sakon Nakhon Province, this place is equally beautiful and plentiful. He said that in the past, the forest was still plentiful, and wherever he prayed, he would always find peace. There are very few forests left now ... Been traveling a lot in the forest. He have been practicing meditation with the forest all the time. Reverend Grandfather Luang Pu then asked that this was the reason why he liked to stay in the forest. Going wild more than anywhere. Even now it's time to sleep. He often imagine himself in the middle of the forest. In the midst of animals because otherwise it will not sleep. Luang Pu Boonsong like this. etc....conversation with the others Monk for a while with a massage offering Luang Pu Boonsong have mercy to tells stories. Until it is the right time to let him rest. Luang Pu always said that "... If there is no Bot (Ubosot = Ordination Hall) in this place, don't expect to see us. Dharma takes us into the forest. But the Bot takes us into town..." Why are you so excited about mere strands of hair?

In the past, Luang Pu Boon Song shaved his head by himself. Luang Pu held a mirror in one hand and held a razor in another. Luang Pu looked into the mirror and shaved at the same time. And once Luang Pu put the razor down, Luang Pu threw his hair on the ground. It was like this for many years.

Then, a miracle happened when one of his pupils went by the mangosteen tree where Luang Pu always shaved his hair.

He saw something black and round in shape under the mangosteen tree. Looking closer, he found that this was a mass of hair clumped together into a ball with white solid objects scattered all over.

Who does this hair belong to? It definitely belongs to Luang Pu Boonsong; the hair that Luang Pu scattered all over the ground. They were miraculously combined.

The pupil was so excited and conveyed the news to Luang Pu. After Luang Pu learnt of the story, Luang Pu calmly replied, “It is merely hair."

The pupil, therefore, asked for an opportunity and permission from Luang Pu to keep the hair to pay homage to and took a picture.

Luang Pu didn’t say no. He also told the disciple that if he wanted to keep the hair, he could go ahead.

Luang Pu still mercifully taught the disciple:
" Why are you so excited about a mass of hair?
If you believe that my hair transformed into relics,
Then you’d better make your hair transform into relics too. This would be even better.
Consider this frequently. "

Dhamma & Philosophy of life

Even though the past that one had done evil but if one do good today, It's not too late to do good just like Phra Angulimala.
Luang Pu Boon Song

The name Angulimala literally means "necklace of fingers". Before Angulima's conversion to Buddhism, he was on a deluded quest to kill one thousand people. Each time he killed a person, he would cut off one finger of his victim and add it to a necklace that he wore around his neck. Angulimala had already killed 999 people, and he was seeking his 1000th victim when he encountered the Buddha. He chased after the Buddha, intending to kill him, but instead the Buddha was able to persuade Angulimala to give up his negative actions. Angulimala became a disciple of Buddha and eventually reached arahatship.

Luang Pu Boon Song of Wat Santi Wanaram, Chanthaburi.
Luang Pu Boon Song of Wat Santi Wanaram (Wat Khao Nam Tok) is one of the guru monks in Chanthaburi Province. Luang Pu Boon Song was born in B.E.2479. Luang Pu Boon Song was born in a poor family but had been brought up by his parents like any normal person who had gone through both the good and bad deeds. At the age of 31, Luang Pu Boon Song was ordained as a monk on 15th July B.E.2510.

Luang Pu Boon Song practiced Dharma and magic under the guidance of Luang Pu Waen Sucinno of Wat Doi Mae Pang, Chiang Mai Province. Luang Pu Waen who was from the direct lineage of Ajarn Mun under the Thai forest monk tradition. When Luang Pu Boon Song was under the guidance of Luang Pu Waen, he was impressed and inherited the wisdom and knowledge of Dharma from Luang Pu Waen’s teaching. It is believed that it is a great honor and merit to serve and have guidance under a highly attained monk. Also, during his stay with Luang Pu Waen, Luang Pu Boon Song had the opportunity to meet many guru monks and managed to gain and exchange knowledge about Dharma.
Luang Pu Waen Sucinno of Wat Doi Mae Pang, Chiang Mai.
After his guidance with Luang Pu Waen, Luang Pu Boon Song went back to Wat Santi Wanaram. During that time, Wat Santi Wanaram was still a small temple and was a temple that was stayed by a few venerable monks. However, things have changed. Now, Luang Pu Boon Song is guiding the monks at Wat Santi Wanaram and the villagers to abide by the rules and discipline of Buddhism.

His words of wisdom are : "As a monk, we should not take advantage of devotees who provides us our meal and water as we do not stay in the temple for the sake of food and rest but to reassurance that our devotees are rewarded with good karma for their efforts in our sincere ritual praying."
I was ordained, I must practice Dhamma. I do not take advantage of people who gave me rice and water. I wasn’t ordained to sit around, sleep, or play. Since I was ordained, I must practice the Dhamma. People come to make merit here, they must get results. I must practice meditation to extend loving-kindness and compassion for them. Luang Pu Boon Song follow strictly on the vinaya rule of not sleep on high luxury bed.
