Luang Pu Thuad Taorit, Lo-Bolan, Ajarn Khun Phantharak Rajadej, Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihaan, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province (B.E.2543)

Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihaan or Wat Prathat is situated on Ratchadamnoen Road, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District. This is one of the most ancient and important places in Nakhon Si Thammarat. There is no exact fact or evidence about the construction of the temple. However, according to the legend, this temple was constructed  because of the belief of Mahayana Buddhism about 1300 B.E. At that time, it was a Tambralinga Kingdom. This is Srivijaya art or Sivijaya style. But later, it was renovated to Sri Langka art because of communication and business.

The most prominent point of this temple is the Phra Barommathat Chedi (Pagoda) because it contains the relics of the Lord of Buddha. Moreover, it was made of gold and many valuable things. There is The Fabric Parade to the Pagoda tradition that is held every year at this temple. The performance is to take along fabric to the Buddha by wrapping it around the Phra Barommathat Chedi. It is believed that if people do merit and pray, they will receive true goodness.

This piece of Luang Pu Thuad Taorit (隆普托烫斗形), Lo-Bolan (倒模) made by the old metal from the temple roof. The metal from the temple roof need to replace some new one. Then the old metal use to melted it for the material of this batch of LP Thuad. Mass chanted by Ajarn Khun Phan.

Luang Pu Thuad amulets are well know to protect the wearer from danger, evil spirits and accidents. Many peoples believe that amulets created in Luang Pu Thuad image hold great protective powers granting safety in times of distress, especially saving the lives of believers from seemingly fatal automobile accidents.
