Information :
The "Phra Chaiwat Luang" amulet was created by the National Council of Social Welfare of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. The grand Buddhist consecration ceremony took place at the Ubosot (main chapel) of Wat Phra Sri Rattanasasadaram (Wat Phra Kaew) in the Grand Palace on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne.
The names of 76 provinces were inscribed (stamped) on the base. These amulets were given to soldiers, police officers, volunteers in the three southern border provinces, and benefactors who donated to the National Council of Social Welfare of Thailand. This was done to raise over 100 million baht for the National Council of Social Welfare of Thailand.
The creation of this Phra Kring Luang and Phra Chaiwat Luang (mini size) amulet involved grand ceremonies according to ancient traditions, including:
1. A blessing ceremony at Wat Pa Kaeo, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and at Wat Chakrawat Ratchawas (Wat Sam Pluem).
2. The casting ceremony of the Phra Kring Luang and Phra Chaiwat Luang amulet at Phutthamonthon, Nakhon Pathom Province.
3. The stirring and consecration of the beeswax at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, Lampang Province.
4. The anointing ceremony of the Phra Kring Luang and Phra Chaiwat Luang amulet with beeswax at Wat Suthat Thep Wararam by senior monks from 76 provinces, with Phra Wisutthathibodi, the abbot of Wat Suthat, as the presiding figure.
5. The grand consecration ceremony of the Phra Kring Luang and Phra Chaiwat Luang amulet from 76 provinces, with royal permission from His Majesty the King, to be held at Wat Phra Sri Rattanasasadaram on Wednesday, July 19, 2006.
This historic consecration ceremony featured renowned senior monks from across the country.
6. A celebratory ceremony for the Phra Kring Luang and Phra Chaiwat Luang amulet simultaneously at all important temples in 76 provinces nationwide. From July 21-23, 2006, which was the first major nationwide ceremony.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phra Chaiwat (Chai) Luang 76 Provinces (Changwat)
第二场法会叫做 Phithi Kwan Si Pheung (煮圣料)在 Wat Phra That, Lampang Luang 进行。
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
