This phayant (Cloth Talisman) is dedicated to a Northern Thai (Lanna) Deity called Phaya Khao Kham. Similar to the Folk Hero Khun Phaen, Phaya Khao Kham was a greatly respected and powerful warrior with many wives. Phaya Khao Kham is not deeply associated with occult magic, and his image is used as a popular charm for attracting love and success in romance.
